Built 1934, art deco in style, a building that now hosts weddings, conferences, comicons, concerts and boxing fixtures. There’s a debate asking if it was built solely by John Fraser (local architect also designed The Alhambra Theatre) or with assistance from F A MacDonald & Partners.
Whoever is responsible it has seen a lot of events and guests including Dalai Lama and Queen Elizabeth.
